JFK a.k.a. Ninjaface in store at GCS
GCS Santa Ana was pleased to have JFK also known as NinjaFace come through the shop for an in store performance. This was one of our first year events and looking at these photos really bring back memories to where we came from and what we’ve become since then. Oldominion music is always bumped here at GCS! The Insects also came through to open for Ninjaface.

This doesn’t happen very often, but from time to time we find photos for art shows that we have hosted and we cannot remember the date of the show. Granted, this was in the early days of the gallery, as you can tell from the quality of the photos. We know this was a three person art show that featured Tyoni Aragon, Joel Beers a.k.a. SRPNT WOLF and Pavel Acevedo. We’ll update this info once its validated, until then enjoy these images from the night.

August 27, 2011- GCS has been very fortunate to host an array of unbelievably talented artists though out the years. This show was curated by Eric Medina a.k.a. EZO-1 and featured many artists from the OC area and beyond. The roster included BAIR, DAMET, DUROK, EARN, JAH SUN, SKEW, TEWSR, DCYPHER. CRE8, FEARO, BLEP, KOPYESON, THISER, MOEZART, STIGMA, PUTOS, BASHER, NATOE, SCUD, DEFER, Mr. NIGHTOWL, NERV, BLOCH, ESPY, EVL, FUEGO, KASL, SNAPR, and SOLVE. And the night would not be complete without the mix masters keeping the pace, DJ AB and DJ Havik. Enjoy the photos.

Orange Crush’d Art Show Photo Re-cap
OCT 3rd, 2015- The Orange Crush’d Art Show came to The GCS Clothing Store and Art Gallery for the October Art Walk, 2015. XPLODE CBS curated this show that brought out most of the biggest hitters in OC graff. This was the biggest night at the new GCS Santa Ana location as hundreds of visitors, artists and art buyers and supporters came through to witness the show for themselves. OCT 3rd, 2015- GCS is happy to welcome the latest piece of street art to hit the box outside our doors. ARBE took the reigns this time and rocked it with his distinctive style. Modern Day Soulja Spiritual Warfare In Store SEPT 26
September 26, 2015- Join us at GCS Clothing Store and Art Gallery on Sept 26 for his “Spiritual Warfare” Album Pre-Release Show. Also performing that night : Anthm, Ralphyc, Yang Sun, Devine, 60 East, Andre Auram, and Mescalito. Come out and suppot underground hip hop. Show starts at 6pm and goes until 10:30pm.. free and all ages!
ISREK solo art show at GCS
AUG 15th, 2015- GCS had the pleasure of hosting the washington based artist ISREK for a solo show. Consisting of original ink and paper illustrations and 6 color prints on wood, this show was a great showcase of his skills as a graff artist, illustrator and representative of his pen control and patience in creating these great pieces. AUG 2015 ART WALK @ GCS
Aug 1st, 2015- No frills, no gimmicks. Just a good ol’ art show for the first of the month. We would like to thank RASK, XPLODE, Ed Gutter, DARCS, GERMIZM, Susie Cue, Tyoni Aragon, Tanya Rose, VGML, Pablo Damas, Jonathan Martinez, Mary Rose and Brittney Camille Gonzalez for bringing in art and participating in this month’s art walk.
A huge shout out to AWOL ONE and XPLODE for painting live during the event. Thank you to Shadow, DJ Real and a very heart felt thank you from all of us at GCS to DJ AB, for this was his last art walk with us before his move to the state of Washington. God speed, sir.

Pre-Holiday Art Show and In store July 3rd, 2015
JULY 3rd, 2015- To commemorate the Independence holiday, we decided to throw an art show and in store to start the weekend off right. The 4th is the kind of holiday that no one wants to work and neither did we. We were very fortunate to get a great line up going for the night which featured the art work of Susie Cue and Tanya Rose. Music for the evening was provided by Os One, Vision and Mando the Dj a.k.a. G.I.A.N.T.S. Music, Okira Myth and Dulok Shaman of GRIZZLY STATE. Also, NAMEK and Josiah Deadflowers of Chamber Records. Backing up the whole night was DJ AB, Real and Deejay Great Daine. Live painting for the night done by Nick Macaulay a.k.a. NMAC and KENOS ONE. THEYDRIFT art show at GCS June 6, 2015
June 6th, 2015- KSRA and Carlos Aguilar a.k.a. THEYDRIFT came all the way down from Washington to be our featured artists in our gallery for the JUNE art walk. GCS was honored to host these amazingly creative minds. Here are the original pieces that were shown in our gallery for the show. In addition to the gallery pieces, they had a chance to rock a piece in front of our shop and it has quickly become a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. These pieces will hang until the end of the month, so don’t hesitate to come in and see them for yourself.
