DEc 6th, 2019- The East Of The River crew came through GCS during their Winter Run tour. Good times like always. Music on point.
Dec 4th, 2019- GCS hosted our good friend Turtle as he brought out Oscar Goldman and Ersatz Plynter for a middle of the week jam. Modest show, we can’t wait to bring these dudes out again.
Oct 4th, 2019- Big ups to Carnage The Executioner for having time on his tour to stop by GCS and rock a free show for us. We’re lucky to have some great MCs come through to support him that night. One of the best in store performances we’ve had the honor of hosting ever at GCS Santa Ana. What a great performer and humble guy. We can’t wait to see him out here again.
May 19th, 2019- GCS was excited for the opportunity to host an old school hip hop and drum and bass music event with our friends from Concrete Jungle LA. The turn out for a Sunday afternoon was great. Weather was nice, and the Dj’s, MCs and artists painting live outside did not disappoint. Here are some images we captured from that day, enjoy.
Dec 7th, 2018- Sage One The Wise hit us with a great idea… a music event to gather donations for charity and help everyone get into the yule tide spirit. Sage brought out a great line up which included Vel The Wonder, ENDZ, 4th Beats, Pecks One, That Jazz Providaaa and Bombshed. Follow our IG and Facebook for more info on future events.
Nov 23, 2018- Loki Loko gathered some great MC’s for a black friday in store performance. Rane Raps, Tua Da Shark, Turtle, Gajah, Logotti, Kenny Villami and Journey Into Zion came out to provide some tunes for the night.

June 1, 2018- Hip hop crew East Of The River stopped by the GCS to kick off their So-Cal tour. Big ups to everyone that came though for the show. EOTR was well represented by team members Dont Sleep, Hollow Vision, Kiddo, Mad Macks, ZZAY, Soul Providers and DJ Drastik . Can’t wait to have them out again very soon!

We had the honor of hosting Santa Ana locals The Rodriguez Show as they celebrated 3 years. They came through with a solid line up and the shop was jumping all night. Here are some of the images we caught from the night.
Sept 1, 2017- Stay Illuminated came through and brought us a great in store performance. Hosted by Gadzooks, performers included Tha Ynoe, EXSR, Besatree, Kid Presentable!!!, Tha Locust, Linoskiii and the DJ for the night was ROKA. Great music, great people, we look forward to the next time we can host these guys.
April 29th, 2017 – GCS Clothing Store and Art Gallery celebrated it’s 8th year in the beautiful city of Santa Ana. It’s been a long and winding road, but we’ve made it. We count everyday open as a blessing, every patron as a priority and every event as an opportunity. We’ve been lucky to be part of this underground art and music culture. As long a there are people to support us, we’ll have the will to keep bringing you the best. Tip your glass, here’s to another 8 years in DTSA… and hopefully many, many more.
April 1st, 2017- 8 years ago to the day, GCS opened it’s doors to the Santa Ana community. It has been a long and winding road full of perils and pleasures, but we have survived. This art walk was a celebration of sorts as we marked this anniversary. New art pieces on the wall and some quality music practitioners helped us mark the date. March 4th, 2017- GCS was fortunate to host the touring Sapient, Jon Sleeves and The Halve Two for a meet and greet and in store performance during the March art walk. While on a mini west coast tour, these mc’s were generous enough to make a stop here in DTSA before their show in Pomona. They had merch for sale and blessed us with a few tunes.
Sunday, March 12th 2017- The neighborhood was jumping an dthe weather was great when Beat Swapmeet came through Eastend Downtown Santa Ana. Taking up residence in the plaza and lot in front of the Yost Theatre, the BSM brought out great vendors, great buyers and friends, new and old. Our friends at Blackbooks and Rhymebooks came through for the day and came through with a line up of great artists and dj’s. Shout out to beirdoh, OG Husky Radio, DJ REAL and all those that came to the shop.
