Sage Francis at The Observatory JAN 27th, 2015

sageflyerOne of our personal favorites, Rhode Island’s own Sage Francis blessed The Observatory stage for a very cool $5 tuesday night show. Sage has been on the road for a good minute to promote his new album “Copper Gone“. The room was packed with avid fans that were receptive to the new material as well as eager to hear the classics. As always, he did not disappoint. The quiet freight train that is Sage hit the crowd with a constant barrage of deep thought and great music. And did we mention leg, a whole lot of leg. We can’t wait until the next time we can see this giant perform. Continue reading to see the rest of the photos from the night. IMG_1714

KRS ONE at The Observatory DEC 3rd… $5 show

You have to give it up to The Observatory for throwing these $5 shows with top quality acts. Despite the fact that it was a tuesday night, the main room was at near capacity for KRS ONE . Backed up by his son on the decks, KRS gave the crowd a great show as usual. Classic tracks, fresh freestyles and a few newer pieces had the paying customers flipin out. Big ups to Out Da House productions for promoting a great show, big ups to Ian and everyone from The Observatory for a another fun night and big ups to KRS for being the legend that hip hop needs right now.

NOV 30th, 2013 in store at GCS Santa Ana…

GELIN-1

Well, it doesn’t happen often. not sure of the cause, maybe it was the itis that you get from Thanksgiving dinner. Or perhaps the fact that the long weekend started on Weds night and by Saturday night people are beat, spent and over all rundown from too much food and drink. Whatever the case may be, the attendance to this in store was light but consisted of good people, down for the cause and great music. Big thanks to Longevity , GEL ROC and Mes1dge for rocking the mic.Longevity, gcs, hiphop, dtsa
