April 7th, 2018- This art walk marked the 9 year anniversary of GCS in Santa Ana. It’s been a wild ride, but we are happy for every second of it. Hopefully we have many more years in this great city.
Feb 3rd, 2018- Always committed to putting together a great show, this art walk really turned into something special. In addition to running a second month of the $50 and under art show, we had the privilege of hosting “Project Portraits” a photo exhibit by Gadzooks consisting of 16 photos of selected member of Project Blowed taken at their recent anniversary show.
Joining the show was a great line up of music heavy hitters. Huge shout out to Gadzooks for bringing down a great photo exhibit, a huge that you to Ab Rude of Project Blowed/ Keep The Feel ent. for helping us book these talented mc’s. Special thank you to the band Strands Of Rope for coming through and throwing down a greta set. Here are some images from the night, enjoy!
Coming to GCS Clothing Store Jan 27th, 2018 Vel The Wonder, ENDZ, 4th Beats, DJ Chente Chi and Hippie C come through for a free in store performance. 6-10pm, all ages, artist merch also available.
Gadzooks brings his latest photo exhibit to GCS Feb 3rd, 2018. “Project Portraits” a collection of portraits taken at the Project Blowed anniversary show. Free and all ages, 6-11pm. Bring everyone. Flashback to Oct 21, 2017 when the “Viva La Vida” Dia De Los Muertos event took place in the lot in front of our shop here in Downtown Santa Ana. A fun filled day of beautiful art, music and cultura. Here are a few images we grabbed from the day. Can’t wait for next year.

The artist known as INOVATE came through during the Aug ’17 art walk and blessed the alley with a new art piece. Come by and take a look for yourself. Located right in front of our neighbors Eat Chow.
As part of the August Art walk in DTSA, GCS hosted MEEZY as he painted a new piece out in front of the shop. MEEZY killed it with MTN Hardcore paint. Come by and take a look before its another art memory. A huge thank you to this artist… look out for more from this guy.
GCS was honored to host Stan “Saints One” Nunez during the Sept ’17 art walk in DTSA. He came through to paint a new piece in the alley as well as hang some prints and originals in our gallery. Make sure to follow his social media to see more from this talented artist.
June 3 , 2017- We were treated to live performances by Journey Into Zion, Malee and others on art walk night. Make sure to support your local hip hop artists.
June 3, 2017- Downtown was jumping off this month. Not only was it the monthly 1st saturday art walk here in DTSA, but the annual East End Block Party event took place up and down 4th st. Here are some images we had a chance to capture, enjoy.
GCS is pleased to announce that we will host “Portraits From Havana” a photo series by Gadzooks. We’re looking forward to seeing the work. More info to come, but make sure to mark your calendars. July 1st, 2017, 6 to 11pm. Free and all ages. Bring the whole family.
June 3, 2017- Pablo Damas a.k.a. Sickdotone came through with his latest art pieces. Acrylic on wood. These paintings are even more impressive in person, come through and see them for yourself. WIll hang throughout June.
Every first saturday of the month is art walk out here in downtown Santa Ana. This month, however, we didn’t host a new show since the Cinco de Mayo carnival blocks us out. Customers still find their way in here but the casual art walker was replaced by families out for a good night. We’ll be back at it in June for art walk.
April 29th, 2017 – GCS Clothing Store and Art Gallery celebrated it’s 8th year in the beautiful city of Santa Ana. It’s been a long and winding road, but we’ve made it. We count everyday open as a blessing, every patron as a priority and every event as an opportunity. We’ve been lucky to be part of this underground art and music culture. As long a there are people to support us, we’ll have the will to keep bringing you the best. Tip your glass, here’s to another 8 years in DTSA… and hopefully many, many more.
Saturday, Feb 25th, 2017 – ULEE made a stop in Santa Ana to hold a meet and greet event for some of her biggest fans. This event was brought to you by the No Label Festival. It’s always enjoyable to host these rising stars. It looks like ULEE has a great future in music.
