Consisting of original ink and paper illustrations and 6 color prints on wood, this show was a great showcase of his skills as a graff artist, illustrator and representative of his pen control and patience in creating these great pieces. The main room was packed from elbows to nuts, but Ironman definitely did not disappoint, giving the audience what they came to hear. June Art Walk ’15 – GCS BLOCK PARTY 6/6/15
GCS is happy to announce our event for JUNE ART WALK. We’re calling it GCS BLOCK PARTY in keeping with the theme of the EAST END BLOCK PARTY. What is that you ask? Well, its like the art walk amplified 10 fold. 4th street will be blocked off to allow for a few music stages. The Beatswapmeet will also be the neighborhood so saying that the day (and night) is going to get busy down here is an understatement.

Delinquent Habits at Psycho De Mayo ’15
May 5th, 2015. It’s that time of year again, time for The Psycho Realm’s premier event of the year entitled Psycho De Mayo. This year, they brought it to The Observatory in Santa Ana. Although there was a strong line up of up and coming, young artists on the bill, by the time GCS got to the venue we were only able to catch Delinquent Habits, Evidence and of course Psycho Realm. Here are some pictures we grabbed of Kemo The Blaxican and Ives Irie while they rocked their set.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony performing “E. 1999 Eternal”
May 3rd, 2015. This event was definitely one for the history books. Layzie, Bizzy, Wish Bone, Flesh-N-Bone and Krayzie Bone otherwise known as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony performed their album “E. 1999 Eternal” in its entirety. The Observatory has done a great job not only booking high quality music acts, but they have been successful in getting these acts to perform some of their more classic albums for these special shows. Nothing against new material but it never hurts to take it back to those albums that made people die hard fans to begin with. The main room at The Observatory was treated to a piece of hip hop history that they will soon not forget.

SH_RK by Jonathan Martinez
One of the benefits of the new location is that we get to curate the art on the electrical box outside our doors. Our plan is to use them as a canvas to showcase the artists that are contained within. 3rdi was the first to renovate the front side of the box but our great friend Jonathan Martinez took over the side facing our front door. Here is a series of shots that show the work in progress.
