ULEE in store 2/25/17
Saturday, Feb 25th, 2017 – ULEE made a stop in Santa Ana to hold a meet and greet event for some of her biggest fans. This event was brought to you by the No Label Festival. It’s always enjoyable to host these rising stars. It looks like ULEE has a great future in music.
Mesidge “Brown Bear Music” in store
GCS will host Mesidge for an instore performance in support of the release of his latest project “Brown Bear Music”. Come through to pick up a copy. Also on the line up, Krazy Race, Phaizrok and Bob Famoso, and Diseize 84. Merch will be available.

Sometimes going through old files, you come across some things that you previously overlooked but now take on a different meaning. We present to you an in store by Tree Haus Club that took place within the first year in Santa Ana. The information escapes me, so you will have to help me on that but we do see some very familiar faces. Photographer is unknown as well. Saturdayz School at GCS
March 26th, 2016- GCS is happy to host Cozy Boyz and Bricktoyaface for Saturdayz School. This is an in store performance featuring Sahtrye, Trizz, Noa James and Faimkills, AA Rashid w/ Sinidian, Flako Siete, and Zombie Music. DEC 26th, 2015- It was the day after Christmas and all through the hood… not a creature or crackhead was stirring… well, it was something like the well known poem about Christmas and enjoying the night. GCS was happy to host an in store performance curated by our good friend Mark ‘Funky’ Garcia. “The Late X-MAs Show” brought out the likes of Theearthlings, Hannah, Can Gnarly, Jayellz, KIT, Konami Homi, M16 and Jmeeks. Psycho Realm x Big Sleeps return to GCS Santa Ana 12/12

GCS Santa Ana was pleased to have JFK also known as NinjaFace come through the shop for an in store performance. This was one of our first year events and looking at these photos really bring back memories to where we came from and what we’ve become since then. Oldominion music is always bumped here at GCS! The Insects also came through to open for Ninjaface.
Modern Day Soulja Spiritual Warfare In Store SEPT 26
September 26, 2015- Join us at GCS Clothing Store and Art Gallery on Sept 26 for his “Spiritual Warfare” Album Pre-Release Show. Also performing that night : Anthm, Ralphyc, Yang Sun, Devine, 60 East, Andre Auram, and Mescalito. Come out and suppot underground hip hop. Show starts at 6pm and goes until 10:30pm.. free and all ages!
Pre-Holiday Art Show and In store July 3rd, 2015
JULY 3rd, 2015- To commemorate the Independence holiday, we decided to throw an art show and in store to start the weekend off right. The 4th is the kind of holiday that no one wants to work and neither did we. We were very fortunate to get a great line up going for the night which featured the art work of Susie Cue and Tanya Rose. Music for the evening was provided by Os One, Vision and Mando the Dj a.k.a. G.I.A.N.T.S. Music, Okira Myth and Dulok Shaman of GRIZZLY STATE. Also, NAMEK and Josiah Deadflowers of Chamber Records. Backing up the whole night was DJ AB, Real and Deejay Great Daine. Live painting for the night done by Nick Macaulay a.k.a. NMAC and KENOS ONE. GCS Block Party Re-cap
JUNE 6th, 2015- This month’s art walk had a lot in store for everyone. Not only was it the monthly first saturday of the month art walk, but East End Santa Ana held their second annual EAST END BLOCK PARTY, as well as the traveling beatswapmeet. This post is an attempt to capture all the happenings at GCS on this day. I’m sure this will take more than one post, so here we go.
THEYDRIFT a.k.a. Carlos Aguilar and KSRA were our featured artists of the month in our gallery. In addition to the great pieces that they brought with them, they painted live through out the day for the art walk crowd.
JROZ, MC Prototype and Jook blessed the mics this evening.
DJ’s Daine, Real, AB and Neuropunk gave the gallery a great vibe through sound vibrations.
3rdi, Hippieone and Q-Vo also had a chance to share their art with the public.
And to top off the evening, Burst Rock and Tic Tac hosted our first breaking and popping battle held in our new location. B-Boy Tekken and Popper Chris won the night.
And as stated before, many many more photos and videos to come. 
June Art Walk ’15 – GCS BLOCK PARTY 6/6/15
GCS is happy to announce our event for JUNE ART WALK. We’re calling it GCS BLOCK PARTY in keeping with the theme of the EAST END BLOCK PARTY. What is that you ask? Well, its like the art walk amplified 10 fold. 4th street will be blocked off to allow for a few music stages. The Beatswapmeet will also be the neighborhood so saying that the day (and night) is going to get busy down here is an understatement. 
J-Live In Store Apr 19, 2015
April 19th, 2015. Thanks to the guys at Undergroundhiphopblog.com for setting up a great in store performance that featured J-Live while on the road with “His Own Self” tour. It was such a nice day that we decided to have to performance right outside our front doors. Others on the bill for the night were Gotta Be Karim, The Villain$, International Maverick, Clockwize, Born Allah, Daejo x Karim and backing up all these MC’s all show long was DJ Lala. GCS extends a huge thank you to everyone that came out to see the show. And of course, a lot more to come.
Vel The Wonder in store May ’14
May 30th, 2014. Vel The Wonder a.k.a. Vel9 paid us a little visit as she ramped up her “Adventures to Warped Tour” meet and greet tour. 
OHNO in store MAR ’14
March 20, 2014. GCS Santa Ana has happy to host OHNO for a in store performance and ticket giveaway, and on a thursday. These cats have a strong fan base and they’re only getting bigger. Look out for more from these fellows. 
Sick Jacken and Big Sleeps signing at GCS Apr 12, 2015
April 12th, 2015. This wasn’t your typical lazy sunday afternoon at GCS santa ana. Today we had the honor of hosting Sick Jacken of The Psycho Realm and world famous artist Big Sleeps for an artist signing and exclusive product release. Chosen to be one of two locations for this release, the GCS customer base came out in full force to snatch up the new merch and say what up to the guys. Kenos One came through to do some psychos inspired body art to add to the ambiance. Our doors will always open to Jack and all The Psycho Realm family, we can’t wait to do this again soon.

“All You Can Eat” art show Apr ’15 art walk
April 4th, 2015. There it goes again. That time of the month that we look forward to and build up to. The first saturday art walk. The goal of this month’s show was to fill the gallery space to the brim with friends, recently made as well as the tried and tested. And it went off without a hitch. We had 3 music performances spaced out throughout the night, we had two artist painting live outside our doors and most of all, we had a great crowd of eager patrons and art fans come out and enjoy some of their night with us.
